Voting Question: Trying to figure out the name of this movie?

I was thinking Julia Stiles was the main character but I checked IMBD and found nothing. Its a horror film that takes place down south. I think I saw it about 4 or 5 years ago with my ex-boyfriend and it was fairly new. It was about this girl who goes to stay with this woman and all this creepy voodoo stuff keeps happening it ends up that she wants to use her body to live through her because she's like some ancient cursed person... this sounds really vague but if anyone can help it would be appreciated!
